First stop is the Rosebank Distillery, A guided tour of Rosebank Distillery and a tutored tasting of Glengoyne 12 year old and Tamdhu 12 year old.
Your experience begins with the stories of Rosebank brought to life in the original distillery building. From there, you’ll be taken on a guided tour through our beautiful new still house, where you’ll discover the whisky-making process that makes Rosebank so unique. You’ll nose the character of the new spirit fresh from the still, before visiting the warehouse where precious casks of Rosebank lie. The experience concludes there tasting rooms where you’ll toast Rosebank’s return with two single malts from there sister distilleries
All aboard! It’s back on the bus with a warm glow as we head back to Edinburgh. Sit back and enjoy our trio of Scottish tapas, consisting of a traditional mini steak pie with Stornoway black pudding, mini mac ‘n’ cheese with ham haugh, and mini haggis, neeps and tatties finished with a whisky sauce. To complement this wee taster of traditional delicious Scottish fayre, a three-flight whisky selection that is perfectly paired with each dish.
As we make our way back our second stop will be The Kelpies The Helix Park is The Home of The Kelpies - the largest equine sculptures in the world.
Standing at 100ft tall and weighing more than 300 tonnes each, the magical Kelpies are a man-made wonder and a feat of engineering. The works of art, created by artist Andy Scott, have become iconic on the landscape after being modelled on real-life icons of times gone by — Clydesdale horses Duke and Baron.
Our third and final stop will be Callendar House which dates from the 14th century. It is set in the nationally-important historic designed landscape of Callendar Park, which also contains a section of the Antonine Wall World Heritage Site and Callendar House was also famous for the some of the filming location for season two of the hugely popular drama series Outlander.
